Blog 19 The conundrum: is living in the New York area- still worth it? Not so long ago in early March the need for a safer, easier, and more affordable life beckoned and many diehard New Yorkers found themselves faced with the choice of leaving or quarantining and sticking it out.       Debating the topic, to stay or leave of course practically became a blood sport at the time.   -      Blog # 18  Intercruises Mini Escape-Via the Circle Line…Back on the water! September 17, 2020 was a great day on the water. The mini voyage around the tip of Manhattan was enjoyed by 43 Intercruises friends.   Hosted by some of the Intercruises staff the delightful event was organized by our very own Lauri Lefkowitz , Vincenza Pesce , Michele Rawlins-Potillo .  We had the large boat mostly to ourselves and a lucky handful of tourists who joined us.  Our tour guide, John Keats, filled us in on the history of some of the New York City landmark like Ellis Island, The Statue of Liberty  and the Brooklyn Bridge to name a few.    All aboard were very thankful for the freedom to be on the water and enjoy some familiar friendly company once again.  Our team was delighted to be outside and together again, enjoying a beautiful sun filled day, first on shore and then onboard.   We caught up on our friendships...

The North Fork is a singular sort of place. With its sandy, glacial soils and maritime climate, the North Fork lends itself to fresh, invigorating...
