What have we been doing with all our free time:

For big and little kids looking for something new:
Check out what’s available and evolving online:

As the entire world shut down, US museums and institutions geared up to create content for children of all ages.  Learning new things while staying at home is easier and more diverse than ever before.

Right now, an abundance of Art Museums added virtual locales to create, and study art.   Artist waiting to become the next DaVinci or fascinated with modern graffiti or kid art, are welcome to join in.  Just log in and start participating in virtual tours to satisfy and delight your creative spirit.

Not to be missed, The 92nd Street Y moved all its activities online, such as  a virtual Intro to drumming and advanced tap and family drawing night!    Just log on and join in the fun.

The Brooklyn Museum has a China Toolkit to immerse yourself in.
If you prefer Science, NASA is the place! Explore the universe and your surroundings.  Their pictures are literally out of this world!

NASA, ESA (European Space Agency) and JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) are inviting coders, entrepreneurs, scientists, designers, storytellers, makers, builders, artists, and technologists to participate in a virtual hackathon May 30-31 dedicated to putting open data to work in developing solutions to issues related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Visit the National Reserve in southwestern Kenya.
Where experienced guides escort tours on an unscripted virtual field trip. Visiting wild Animals you encounter on any particular expedition. Viewers have the opportunity to witness ecosystems, weather patterns, and wildlife in an authentic environment all without leaving your home.

If all of this has made you thirsty?  How about a cup of coffee?

Good to the Last Drop…

Did you know Glenn Close posted to Instagram, that she mentioned missing a “great little coffee shop around the corner” from her apartment in New York City?

You may know Sey Coffee in the Bushwick neighborhood of Brooklyn.  A Barrister gets paid for their mental and emotional energy.   Some people are simply seeking an outside connection, a kind of therapeutic exchange that can accompany the transaction.   Some people are visiting open coffee shops not so much that they need to drink coffee but to help support these shops.
