    - Blog #7 Dedicated to our neighborhood establishments, who need us, as much as we need them!  When the corona virus swept through our neighborhoods, we sheltered and began counting the weeks. Many of us unaware that our favorite local businesses had begun a different countdown of their own.  Will our favorite restaurants and establishments survive until we emerge?  “The answer, is up to us!”  Like most neighborhoods, our local establishments rely on us for business, and we in turn need them more than we realize.  Empty shops reduce foot traffic, drop property values, and attract unwanted pests and decay. Local establishments sustain our neighborhoods, encourage economic growth, provide us with places to meet and bring families and friends together.  We all have our favorite shops and eateries that we enjoy frequenting.  Many of them are preparing to open with restrictions and it will be up to us to let them know they...

    - Blog #6 Things are changing right in front of our eyes:  Can you see them… Who could have thought that our current situation would sweep away  barriers to moving our lives online?  Not everything can become virtual of course, but in many areas of our lives, an uptake of useful online tools is improving the way we live.  The following is a small sample of what is appearing now:   Medicare allowing billing for telemedicine was a long overdue change, as was revisiting HIPAA to permit more medical providers to use the same tools the rest of us use every day to communicate, such as Skype, Facetime and email. Partial homeschooling, and online learning for K-12 will now be near impossible to put solely back in the classroom this coming fall. Many families now prefer full or partial homeschooling or online homework. College students, returning to expensive dorm rooms on depopulated campuses could find it less economically appealing...

   - Blog #5 What have we been doing with all our free time: For big and little kids looking for something new: Check out what’s available and evolving online: As the entire world shut down, US museums and institutions geared up to create content for children of all ages.  Learning new things while staying at home is easier and more diverse than ever before. Right now, an abundance of Art Museums added virtual locales to create, and study art.   Artist waiting to become the next DaVinci or fascinated with modern graffiti or kid art, are welcome to join in.  Just log in and start participating in virtual tours to satisfy and delight your creative spirit.
